Women’s Retreat Collection for payments is today.  Please bring payments to Classroom 1 following the morning service.

VBS Superstars:  Vacation Bible School volunteers are asked to meet at the Poplar House after service today.

Greeting Queens!  Today is the last day to sign up for the Tea Time bowling outing at Buffaloe Lanes, 6701 Fayetteville Rd., Raleigh, NC, May 25th, 1:00—3:00pm. The cost is $15/person, which includes shoes and bowling. Ladies, you are welcome to invite other ladies to join us in the fun and fellowship.  Please sign up in the copier room if you plan to attend.  Contact Doza Primus or Ella Mebane with questions.

Attention All Saint Augustine’s Falcons! If you are an alumnus, have ever attended St. Augustine’s or have any affiliation with the university, we greatly need you for SAU Sunday at Poplar Springs.

All graduating high school seniors are eligible for a scholarship to the college they choose to attend. Contact the Scholarship Ministry, Deacon Lattie Baker, or Robert Braswell for more info and application.

The Scholarship Ministry would like to recognize all elementary, middle school, high school and college students for their school year achievement, recognitions for church ministries, community service, clubs, and public service activities. A copy/record of all achievements/recognitions is not required.  You will receive recognition by completing the form that is located on the church website.

The Men’s Ministry is planning a Fall Men’s Retreat in Wilmington, NC, from October 25th to 27th. For further information, contact Horace Palmer at 919-987-7760.

The Youth Ministry is in need of teachers for Youth Church. Please contact Pastor Eric Sconiers if you are interested at youth@poplar-springs.org.

Please donate portable heaters for families in need. The Abraham Sunday School class needs your help with donations of portable heaters to help families in need for the upcoming winter months. Distribution will be first to those in our church family, then to those in the community. Contact Trustee Kevin Ragland at (919) 449-6444 or Deacon Al McCutcheon at 919-723-1233 if you have questions or need a heater.  

2023 Financial Statements – As a reminder, all disciples with an email address on file at the church have access to your giving statement online at the Member Portal. If you don’t have access and need your statement emailed or mailed to you, please contact the Church Administrator at administrator@poplar-springs.org or call the church office at 919-772-5151 and leave a message for the Administrator.
