The Scholarship Ministry will recognize all elementary, middle school, high school, and college students who made the honor roll, President’s List, or Dean’s List during the Fall/Winter Semester 2024-2025 (1st quarter, 2nd quarter, or both).  Place a COPY of your report card or transcript in the Scholarship Ministry mailbox using the provided envelopes no later than Sunday,  March 2, 2025.  We will only accept paper copies.  Remember for every “C” or “2” there must be an “A” or “4”. Students being honored will be recognized during the 10:00 am service on March 16th.  Students who submit report cards after the deadline will be recognized during the Spring Honor Roll Recognition.

Women’s Retreat 2025 is September 25th – September 29th in the Charm City of Baltimore, Maryland. Theme: Charmed – Still We Rise: Celebrating and Embracing Our Positive Impact. Scripture: Proverbs 31:29-31:  29: “Many women have done noble work, but you have surpassed them all!”  30Charm is deceptive, and beauty evaporates, but, a woman who has the fear of the Lord should be praised. 31 Reward her for what she has done, and let her achievements praise her at the city gates.

Today is the last day to sign up for the CPR/First Aid recertification class, which will be on February 20, 2025, at 6:00 pm, in the conference room.  Contact Vanessa Snellings with questions.

If you are a current caregiver or buddy, a new Family Caregiver or just interested in being a Buddy to a Caregiver, please join AARP CC2C for a “Meet and Greet” on Sunday,                February 16th, after church at the Poplar House.  Information and parking provided.
