Save the Dates! Royal Kids Camp Annual Fundraiser is Saturday, April 14; the dates for Royal Kids Camp are July 15 – 20, 2018. Please see Robyn King if you are interested in participating.

The Young Adult Ministry will begin collecting back packs for their annual back pack drive. The collection site will be in the hall near the mailboxes.  Thank you for your support!

Please donate portable heaters for families in need.  The Abraham Sunday School class needs your help with donations of portable heaters to help families in need for the upcoming winter months.  Distribution will be first to those in our church family, then to those in the community.  Contact Trustee Kevin Ragland (919) 449-6444 or Deacon Al McCutcheon (919) 723-1233.  If you are in need of a heater, please sign up in the copier room.

Poplar disciples who need your 2017 Financial Statement are asked to sign up in the finance office.  Please allow a one-week turnaround to pick up your statement.  If you have questions, contact Trustee Ruby Hodge in the finance office.

The Spouses of the Deacons will have communion rehearsal Saturday, March 3, 10:00 a.m. – noon. The women ministers are asked to please join us.

We are looking for positive and enthusiastic Summer Camp Counselors who enjoy working with children. Join us as a Camp Counselor at Poplar Springs Christian Church for fun in the sun, field trips, crafts and daily academic enrichment. Counselors must be 18 years of age or older, willing to participate in all indoor and outdoor activities, and must be available four or more hours per shift. Please contact Rev. Separation/Divorce Care Ministry: A 13-week program that meets once a week from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Poplar House beginning Tuesday, February 20. This ministry provides a biblical approach in finding help, discovering hope, experiencing healing and restoring individuals who are hurting because of separation and/or divorce. We will also offer Divorce Care for kids ages 8 to 12. Both sessions are offered at the same time. Pamela Williams and Kamilla Dancy are facilitators for the children. Please contact Christine C. Save the Date!! Garner Relay for Life will be April 27 – 28, 2018, at Lake Benson Park, Garner, NC, 4:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Cancer Support Ministry.
