All graduating high school seniors are eligible to receive a scholarship to the college they choose to attend. Contact the Scholarship Ministry, Deacon Lattie Baker, or Robert Braswell for more info and application.

Family Caregivers, Church Family and Community Friends, please join CC2C, Thursday, May 2nd, 7:00 pm, on Zoom. Our guest will be from the Law Firm of Whitaker & Hamer, discussing Trust and other Estate needs. The meeting ID is on the church calendar.

Initial payments on the Women’s Retreat may be made after service today in Classroom 1. Please bring your registration form, payment, and patience.

The Scholarship Ministry would like to recognize all elementary, middle school, high school, and college students for their school year achievement and recognition for church ministries, community service, clubs, and public service activities. A copy/record of all achievements/recognitions is not required. You will receive recognition by completing the form on the church website.   

 We also want to recognize our graduates for their great accomplishments. We ask that all preschool, high school, and college graduates submit the Graduate Recognition form along with a graduate picture no later than May 31st. The form is on the church website.

Tea Time for Sunday, May 5th is canceled. There will be a fellowship outing planned. Ladies, please watch for an announcement.

The Missionary Ministry will have a small give-away event on Saturday, May 18th, from 10:00—3:00pm. Please feel free to bring in any gently used items you are not using that someone can use. Donations will be accepted the week before. 

Homecoming 2024: Join us as we celebrate our 153rd Homecoming on Sunday, May 5th, 2024. The festivities will begin right after church, starting in the sanctuary and continuing in the back parking lot. We have a lot of fun activities planned, many food trucks, music, and a few other surprises! Please plan to stay after church and join us in the fellowship.

The Men’s Ministry is planning a Fall Men’s Retreat in Wilmington, NC, from October 25th to 27. For further information, contact Horace Palmer at 919-987-7760. 

Calling All Superstars! Vacation Bible School is just around the corner, and we need YOU to make it the best one yet! Are you passionate about working with children and sharing the love of God? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to fill a variety of roles, including teachers, timekeepers, and more. Every contribution makes a difference! Vacation Bible School will take place June 10—14, 6:00—8:15pm. Join us in creating a week filled with fun, learning, and growing together in faith. Ready to answer the call? Please donate portable heaters for families in need. The Abraham Sunday School class needs your help with donations of portable heaters to help families in need for the upcoming winter months. Distribution will be first to those in our church family, then to those in the community.
