We will have an Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 2 to 6 after Church in the courtyard.

Church Conference will be on Thursday, April 24th, at 7 pm.

Please join PSCC Cancer Support Ministry at Lake Benson Park for the Garner Relay of Life event on April 26th from 1 pm to 10 pm.

Women’s Retreat 2025 to Baltimore, Maryland, registration will close on Sunday, May 18th.  Ladies, get your roommates and secure your room before the deadline.

The Women’s Retreat Committee will sponsor three (3) women interested in attending the Women’s Retreat 2025 and facing a financial hardship. The sponsorship will cover the retreat costs only for no less than three (3) women to a room.  A submission is based upon one’s own Christian assessment. To discreetly submit your request, please complete the slip in the Copier Room and place it in the purple-star box. The deadline and random drawing of the three ladies’ names are Sunday, May 18th.

Habitat for Humanity Community Event: Hello Garner area churches! We are just a couple of weeks away from the Gatewood neighborhood Beautification Day, which will be Saturday, May 3rd.  We need more volunteers to help with landscaping and painting on 11 different projects throughout the neighborhood. Wake Baptist Grove is serving as grill masters, and so lunch will be provided and fabulous! Please sign up here.

To prepare for our Mother’s Day brunch, we will have line dancing classes on Tuesdays, 6:00—7:00 pm, at Lake Benson near Shelter #1.

Greetings Queens, the Tea Time Committee will be hosting a bowling outing at Buffaloe Lanes on May 3rd from 3 pm-5 pm. The cost is $18.00 per person, which includes shoes and bowling. The Scholarship Ministry would like to recognize all elementary, middle school, high school, and college students for their school year achievements, recognitions for church ministries, community service, clubs, and public service activities. A copy/record of all achievements/recognitions is not required. You will receive recognition by completing the form located on the church website.  

We also want to recognize our graduates for their great accomplishments. We ask that all preschool, high school, and college graduates submit the Graduate Recognition form along with a graduate picture no later than May 31st. The form is on the church website.

The Transportation Ministry is in need of new members. If you are looking for a place to serve and want to be a part of this ministry, please see any member of the Trustee Ministry, or call the Church.
