Announcements: Week of September 22
PSCC’s first Youth Explosion Session (YES) will be today after our morning service until 2:00pm. The purpose of these sessions is to engage, educate, encourage, and empower ALL youth ages 5 to 18 to “glorify God in all that we do and say.” Our theme is: Being a believer right where you are!!! Our prayer is that our youth will learn biblical principles and apply them to their lives as they go through life’s trials, tribulations and wrestle against principalities. Dinner will be served.
The Pastor’s Aide Ministry will meet Saturday, September 28th, 10:00am. New members are welcome and invited to attend. If you are interested in working on the Pastor’s 30th Anniversary, please sign up in the copier room and join us at this meeting.
We are in dire need of adult members to join the Pre-School Ministry. We need volunteers who are passionate about providing dependable, safe, secure, and nurturing care to our potty-trained to 4-year old youth during Sunday Service. Hallelujah Carnival—It’s that time of year again. Our Hallelujah Carnival will be Thursday, October 31, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Please sign up to volunteer your time on the signup sheets located in the Copier Room. You can start donating candy for the Hallelujah Carnival. There will be Bingo for the adults. There will be prizes and lots of fun activities for youth. For everyone, we will have fellowship, fun, food and candy. Contact Pam Jackson for more information.
The Women’s Retreat Committee is in need of non-perishable food items for the 2019 service project. The Women’s Retreat participants will volunteer with the Food Bank of Myrtle Beach on October 4th. Youth Usher Ministry – The purpose of the Youth Usher Ministry is to promote young people interested in working in the church, and to train and prepare them for ushering as an adult. New Disciples 101 is looking for new Facilitators to help teach on Sunday mornings. Please contact Kevin James (919-618-1031) or Min Delores Anderson if you are interested.

We are happy to accommodate you with parking on the hill and our shuttle drivers are happy to assist you with getting to and from the church before and after service. Anyone interested in joining the First Aide Ministry should contact Vanessa Snellings, Chairperson, at 919-272-8654 or firstname.lastname@example.org. To participate you should have a serving spirit and be willing to obtain a First Aid CPR certification. Meetings are the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:00pm.
