FREE Fatherhood Workshop – For the Daddy’s. All ages from our church home and community! Please join us on Thursday, October 5, 2017, for an information session about the new series. The 12-week series offers: Great conversations around several thought-provoking topics.

Separation/Divorce Care Ministry – Separation/Divorce Care is a 13-week program that meets once a week from 7:00 – 9:00pm at the Poplar House beginning September 19th. This ministry provides a biblical approach in finding help, discovering hope, experiencing healing and restoration to individuals hurting because of separation and/or divorce. We will also offer DivorceCare for kids ages 8-12. Both sessions are offered at the same time. Pamela Williams and Kamilla Dancy are facilitators for the children.

American Heart Association’s Heart Walk – Support the fight against heart disease and stroke. The power we have together far outweighs what we can do alone. Can we count on you again this year? Connecting Couple’s – Marriage Ministry We’re having a Picnic!! Please join Connecting Couple’s Ministry, along with other couples for husbands vs. wives’ volleyball game, food, fun, games, and music on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Creech Road Park from 12:00pm-3:00 p.m.  Meats will be provided.  Please sign-up in the copier room to bring a side picnic dish.

Habitat for Humanity of Wake County Apostles Build 2017 is looking for volunteers to help build some home in Wake County.  Please register via http://vhub.at/apostlesbuild.  Available Dates: October 28, December 30 and January 6. See Attiya Taylor for more information.

Leadership Intercessory Prayer – The Prayer Ministry would like to extend a special invitation to the PSCC Leadership, Pastors, Deacons, and Ministry Leaders to come out and intercede for your ministry, church, family, community, and nation Saturday, September 16, 7:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m.

2017 Baby Contest Contestants – The A.B. Davis Fellowship Ministry will sponsor their annual “Baby Contest” on Sunday, September 17 at 3:00 p.m.  Please support our children.

Be The Match Registry – You Can Be the Cure! Join Be the match registry.  Patients need you!  Thousands with blood cancers like leukemia and/or sickle cell anemia are in need of a transplant. Saturday, September 23 at PSCC 10am–Noon. If you are unable to attend the event please join the registry online at http://join.bethematch.org/swab.

Food Pantry Ministry – The Food Pantry Ministry needs men over the age of 18 years old to assist in loading and unload the truck, every 1st and 3rd Tuesday. Please contact Katherine Branch for details. The Food Bank is also looking for volunteers to help with food distribution on the second Tuesday of each month.  If you would like to help, please contact Tina Smith.

Empowerment Hour Bible Study Leaders Needed – The Youth Ministry needs teachers to join our Wednesday Night Empowerment Hour Bible Study Team.  Please contact Rev. Williams for more information at youth@poplar-springs.org.

Hallelujah Carnival – Poplar Springs Annual Hallelujah Carnival is October 31, 2017, 6:00 – 8:00pm. We are in need of volunteers for this event as well as generators to operate some of the inflatable bouncy houses.
