Announcements: Week of September 14th

Volunteers are needed for the Hallelujah Festival on October 31, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We need volunteers who can come out early to assist with the setup.

A financial literacy session will be held in the sanctuary on September 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  ALL are welcome to attend.

The Annie B. Davis Fellowship Ministry will reconvene on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

Ladies attending the Women’s Retreat are asked to meet today following the morning service in the front middle pews for the final update meeting. See you then!

Are you excited and interested in joining a committee that is extending the reach and presence of Poplar Springs? Calling All Youth—If you are between 10 and 18 years old, the Youth Usher Ministry needs you! Ushering offers our youth an opportunity to be the congregation’s first impression. The only requirement is a friendly spirit and heart for service. Our youth ushers are trained by adult ushers/leaders. The Transportation Ministry is in need of new members. If you are looking for a place to serve and want to be a part of this Ministry, please see any member of the Trustee Ministry or call the Church.

The Men’s Ministry meets weekly on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. at the Poplar House. For more information, call Nathaniel Washington (703-789-1109).
