Church Directory Sign up today and schedule your appointment to take your family picture. Your participation will help both you and the church. Every family photographed for the directory will receive a copy of the directory and an 8×10 portrait at no cost.  You will also have the opportunity to purchase additional portraits at the time of photography.  Please check your calendar.  We will schedule the appointments today and on June 4. The pictures will be taken June 14-17 and July 19-22.

Women’s Retreat Committee – will collect today after both services.  After 8:00 a.m. service, the committee will collect in front of the fellowship hall; after 10:30 a.m. service, they will be in Classroom #1.  

Youth Retreat – All parents of youth attending the Mission Retreat to Myrtle Beach are asked to attend an informational session with their youth immediately following service next Sunday, June 4. The session will take place in the fellowship hall and should last about 30 minutes. Please contact your Retreat Coordinator if you have any questions.

Summer Camp is being offered at Poplar Springs for 10 weeks from June 13 – August 18, 2017.  You may register for as many weeks as you would like with a two-week minimum.  Camp will operate from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.. There is a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $50 per child.  The weekly camp fee for the summer of 2017 is $60 per child. MEN AARP Poplar Springs CC2C, 2017, recognizes the ever-changing roles of MEN.  Not only are you a Husband, Father, and/or Son, you are a CAREGIVER as well.  CC2C would like the opportunity to share some information and a meal with you.  MEN, please join us for breakfast on Saturday, June 10th, from 8:30 to 10:30am, at Golden Corral – 3551 Grenelle St., Raleigh. Edith Berry Scholarship – The Edith Berry Scholarship was established by Minister Edith Berry for current members of Poplar Springs Christian Church (member for at least 18 months) and graduating high school seniors who plan to attend a college or university. Click to download application. Application deadline is Sunday, June 4.

2017 Annual Graduation/Youth Recognition Awards and Banquet – Each year the Scholarship Ministry recognizes all students of Poplar Springs for their accomplishments made during the year. These accomplishments can be church, school, athletic, or community related. We will celebrate our graduates and students by honoring them and their family with a banquet on Saturday, June 24, 2017, 4:00 p.m. in the PSCC Fellowship Hall. The Scholarship Ministry is asking all graduates and students to complete the Graduation/Youth Recognition Form found on the table near Pastor Brooks’ office or on the church website. The form should be completed in print and returned to the Scholarship mailbox located on the table next to Pastor Brooks’ office or emailed to or given to any member of the Scholarship Ministry. To ensure the information is printed in the recognition booklet, the DEADLINE to submit the form is Sunday, June 4.  This information will also be highlighted on Saturday, June 24 at the Annual Graduation/Youth Banquet and on Sunday, June 25, 9:30 a.m.. ALL Preschool, High School, and College graduates will be recognized at the Graduation/Youth Day Program.

WANTED:  Royal Family Kids Camp is in need of a few good men and women to volunteer for our camp for foster children, ages 6-12, July 16 – 22, 2017.  Pitt County has been added this year and they want to send us a minimum of 10 additional children.  More children more help needed.  Please consider.  If you have any questions, you can contact, Robyn King at
