Wake Johnston Men’s Fellowship Breakfast will be held in the fellowship hall on Saturday, March 25th at 8:00 – 10:0 am. Guest speaker will be Deacon David K. Baker. All men are invited.
Spouses of the Deacons will volunteer at HOPE Ministry on Saturday, March 25th at 10:00 am.
Connecting Couples: Black Marriage Day “An Evening Affair”
Please join us for a dinner date night to celebrate Black Marriage Day on Saturday, March 25th at 6:00 – 9:00pm in the fellowship hall with an evening filled with fun, laughter, and motivation! Dress is semi-formal. Please sign-up in the copier room or RSVP with Tim Grubbs (919)760-9656.
Royal Family Kids Camp Banquet will be held on Saturday, March 25th at 6:00 pm. Our theme this year will be Sowing Seeds of Hope. Tickets are free and will not be given out at the door; however, you must have a ticket to attend. Today is the last day to see Robyn King for tickets.
Greeters Ministry will meet immediately following the 10:30 service on March 26th in the back of the sanctuary.
Wake-Johnston Men’s Fellowship will host their Annual Good Friday Plate Sale on Friday, April 14th at State Street Community Church, 1200 South State Street from 11:00am until 3:00pm. You can purchase tickets from Deacon Lattie Baker, Brother Rickie Smith or Brother Robert Braswell. Please purchase your ticket by April 13th. You can also purchase on site on April 14th.
Poplar Springs is offering 10 weeks of summer camp from June 13 – August 18, 2017. You may register for as many weeks as you would like with a two-week minimum. Camp will operate from 7:00am to 6:00pm. There is a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 per child. The weekly camp fee for the summer of 2017 is $60.00 per child. A payment plan is available for your convenience. Early Bird Non-Refundable Registration Fee: $35.00 (deadline for early bird registration fee is Friday, March 31st). Please see Rev. Women’s Retreat Committee – We have one full bus for the Women’s Retreat to New York City, September 13 – 17. In order to take a second bus, we need 25 more ladies to sign up. A sign-up sheet will be placed in the copier room. All deposits must be paid by March 26th. For more information, please see the committee members.
