Women’s Retreat registration ends today.  If you wish to attend the retreat, registration must be completed today. 

Attention All Saint Augustine’s Falcons! If you are an alumnus, have attended St. Augustine’s, or have any affiliation with the university, we greatly need you for SAU Sunday at Poplar Springs. Please put your information on the Saint Augustine’s info sheet in the copier room, or you may send it to Arielle McMillan at mcmillanarielle@gmail.com.

All graduating high school seniors are eligible for a scholarship to the college they choose to attend. Contact the Scholarship Ministry, Deacon Lattie Baker, or Robert Braswell for more info and application.

The Scholarship Ministry would like to recognize all elementary, middle school, high school, and college students for their school year achievements and recognitions for church ministries, community service, clubs, and public service activities. A copy/record of all achievements/recognitions is not required. You will receive recognition by completing the form located on the church website.

The Men’s Ministry is planning a Fall Men’s Retreat in Wilmington, NC, from October 25th to 27th. For further information, contact Horace Palmer at 919-987-7760.

The Youth Ministry is in need of teachers for Youth Church. Please contact Pastor Eric Sconiers if you are interested at youth@poplar-springs.org.

Please donate portable heaters for families in need. The Abraham Sunday School class needs your help with donations of portable heaters to help families in need for the upcoming winter months. Distribution will be first to those in our church family, then to those in the community. Contact Trustee Kevin Ragland at (919) 449-6444 or Deacon Al McCutcheon at 919-723-1233 if you have questions or need a heater.  

2023 Financial Statements – As a reminder, all disciples with an email address on file at the church have access to your giving statement online at the Member Portal. If you don’t have access and need your statement emailed or mailed to you, please contact the Church Administrator at administrator@poplar-springs.org or call the church office at 919-772-5151 and leave a message for the Administrator. The Transportation Ministry is in need of new members. If you are looking for a place to serve and want to be a part of this ministry, please see any member of the Trustee Ministry, or call the church.
