2016 Women Retreat Committee will meet today immediately after the service in the center near the narthex. Everyone must complete a registration form. The final payment is due Sunday, July 31.


A.B. Davis Fellowship Ministry – is preparing for their 2nd Annual Queen For-A-Day celebration. The first meeting for the participants will be today after service. The program will be on Sunday, September 11.


A.B. Davis Fellowship Ministry –choir rehearsal will be Saturday, July 16 at 2:00pm.

Royal Family Kids Camp – We would love to have your help to set up and run Olympics games for the campers on Wednesday, July 20 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Crusader Youth Camp; Dunn, NC. Call Robyn King for more details. Please sign up today in the copier room.


Scholarship Ministry – will recognize all elementary, middle school, high school and college students who made the honor roll, President’s List, or Dean’s List during the Spring Semester (3rd quarter, 4th quarter, or both).  All students who made the honor roll/list are encouraged to place a COPY of their report card in the Scholarship mailbox no later than Sunday, July 31, 2016.  Please remember for every “C” or “2” there must be an “A” or “4”.  Students being honored will be recognized during the 9:30am service on August 21.


CC2C-AARP – You don’t have to be a senior to partner with AARP. The AARP CareGivers Committee is sponsoring a Caregiver’s event on August 23. The committee would like to have prizes for giveaway. If you’re an entrepreneur and have a gift(s) to donate, please sign up in the copier room or see any of the committee member. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Raleigh-Apex NAACP, Annual Freedom Fund Banquet – August 20 at 5:00 pm. The theme is “Our Lives Matter Our Votes Count”. The event will be held at Martin Street Baptist Church Family Life Center 1005 E Martin Street, Raleigh NC 27601. The NAACP is still fighting for all people right. The speaker for the program this year is one of the NAACP youth Donovan Steele Summers who is an awesome speaker. He recited “I have a Dream” speech on Martin Luther King Jr Celebration a couple of years back at the Breakfast in Morrisville; and did an awesome job. Please come and join us for this special occasion.


Food Bank Volunteers Needed July 30, 2016 – Women’s Retreat 2016 will be volunteering again at the NC Food Bank on Saturday, July 30 8am – 12pm and 1pm – 4pm.
