Are you a Family Caregiver with the enormous responsibility of taking care of your loved one? Poplar Springs and AARP-CC2C 18 is here to assist YOU.  AARP-CC2C 18 is a church community based group designed to provide information and much more to the family caregiver.  ALL current group participants (Men and Women) and anyone interested in joining the group, or persons who have suffered a loss – please meet with AARP CC2C Sunday, February 18th, in the fellowship hall after service.  Refreshment provided.  AARP CC2C Loves the Caregivers!

Let’s Support the Grubbs and McLeans …and the Bells as they compete in the live taping of the After the “I Do’s” Game Show on Friday, February 9th at The Clayton Center. Hosted by clean comedian, Les Long, four couples will answer questions about each other in hopes of winning the grand prize. This will keep you laughing for sure! The audience will also have a chance to win great prizes during the show along with some other “surprises” in store for you. There will be a vendor’s pavilion open at 6:30 with items that will be perfect for Valentine’s Day. We are looking for positive and enthusiastic Summer Camp Counselors who enjoy working with children.  Join us as a Camp Counselor at Poplar Springs Christian Church for fun in the sun, field trips, crafts and daily academic enrichment.  Counselors must be 18 years of age or older, willing to participate in all indoor and outdoor activities, and must be available four or more hours per shift. Separation/Divorce Care Ministry: A 13-week program that meets once a week from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Poplar House beginning Tuesday, February 20th. This ministry provides a biblical approach in finding help, discovering hope, experiencing healing and restoring individuals who are hurting because of separation and/or divorce. We will also offer Divorce Care for kids ages 8 to 12. Both sessions are offered at the same time.  Pamela Williams and Kamilla Dancy are facilitators for the children. Please contact Christine C.
