The Cancer Support Ministry appreciates everyone’s support throughout the month of October in providing cancer awareness & honoring cancer survivors. “Where there is unity, there is power.”
Senior’s Day will be Sunday, November 11th. All seniors are asked to dress in black and to sit together in the middle aisle. Lunch will be served immediately after service.
The Deacon Ministry would like to invite everyone to the Deacon Ordination service on Sunday, November 18th, at 4:00 pm. Rev. Tracy J. Bell, Pastor of New Bethel Christian Church, will be the guest speaker. Music will be provided by the New Bethel Christian Church Choir. There will be a reception immediately following this sacred and anointed service. Please come and welcome our newly appointed deacons to the Poplar Springs Deacon ministry.
Church Conference will be Thursday, November 29, 7:00 pm.
We are looking for parents, caregivers, and professionals that work directly with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder to participate in an Autism Support Group. The focus will be to share, explore, and learn in a non-judgmental manner, ways to help and foster our awesome children. The New Generation Choir will have choir rehearsal on November 10th and November 17th, 2:00 – 3:00pm.

Connecting Couples Marriage Enrichment Workshop: “Blended and Blessed will be Saturday, November 10th, 9:00 am, in the Fellowship Hall. A continental breakfast will be provided. Are you a blended family? How do you create a happily blended family? How do you set boundaries in a blended family? Join us as we learn how to stay Blended & Blessed. The presenters are Jamal & Shandolyn Brown.
The Youth Ministry is looking for ministry servants to join the Youth Empowerment Hour Bible Study Team. Teachers are needed for all age groups. Please contact Rev. Williams for additional information.
If you want to be a “doorkeeper” for the Lord and you are ready to serve with a smile, the Adult Usher Ministry is seeking new members! Adult male and female ushers are needed for worship services.
