Food Bank - Disciples are asked to pick up perishable food items on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays after 10:30 a.m.
Separation/Divorce Care Ministry - 13 week program meeting once a week from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Poplar House. Provides a biblical approach in finding help, discovering hope, experiencing healing and restoration to individuals hurting because of separation and/or divorce. We will also offer DivorceCare for kids ages 8-12. Both sessions are offered at the same time. Pamela Williams and Kamilla Dancy are facilitators for the children.
Financial Education Workshop! Handling your finances are very important to our spiritual survival. God wants us to be good stewards over what he has bestowed to us. We at Poplar Springs take our financial responsibilities very seriously. We as a congregation have been reading the Financial Responsibility statement for the past few months…….because we are committed to helping you achieve your financial goals, and educating you on how to do that….we’ve set up some workshops for you. These workshops will help you to understand what God says about your finances and how being obedient to his principles will help you with your everyday financial goals.
