Poplar Springs Christian Church Summer Camp (PSCC) is excited about this summer’s summer camp and hope you will consider joining us.  Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, fun and engaging experience for your child. Prayer Ministry – You are invited to attend the Prayer Breakfast hosted by the Poplar Springs Intercessory Prayer Ministry, April 16th 9:00am in the fellowship hall. Come with your neighbors and friends as we all learn how to increase and renew our prayer life. Sign up in the copier room or on our website through the contact us tab.

Scholarship Ministry - if you are currently a high school or a college senior, with intentions of graduating this May/June 2016, please provide your name, phone number and email address to the Scholarship Ministry. Information can be placed in the scholarship mailbox or given to any member. This information is very vital to us, as we receive scholarship information and the planning of our Annual Graduation Recognition Day.

AARP CC2C - “Count Me Faithful” is looking for Buddy Volunteers to assist Caregivers. If you are interested, please contact Vanessa Snellings or Rev. Kevin James for more information. 

Cultural Arts Ministry - is in need of a few good “committed” women, men, boys and girls, to help with “behind the scenes” action and “technical theater” for our productions. You will have to be present at some rehearsals and available on the production dates. If you are interested in being a part of our productions, please contact Shalon Maxile at 919-559-6018 or

NAACP Mother of the Year – Veronica Wall is representing Poplar Springs and is requesting your support.  Please complete the form in the bulletin. The contest will be held Sunday, April 24th at 4:00pm at Martin Street Baptist Church, 1001 E. Martin Street, Raleigh, NC.  All women are invited to wear a hat and participate in the parade of hats!

Evangelism Ministry – If you have a desire to bring others to Christ, but you are not sure how to, then here is an opportunity for you. There is an open Evangelism Training, Saturday, May 21th, 10:00am- 1:00pm in the fellowship hall.  Materials will be provided.

A. B. Davis Fellowship Ministry will travel to Barn Dinner Theater to see Crown on Tuesday, July 26th. Tickets are $55.  Payment Plan:  1st payment:  Wednesday, April 6th $21.00; 2nd payment: Wednesday, May 11th $17; final payment:  Wednesday, June 8th $17.

SAVE THE DATE! - Royal Family Kids Camp is looking for a few good men and women to attend camp this summer from July 17-22, 2016. More details to follow. If you are interested, please contact Robyn King at

  • Donations are needed to make our evening successful. We are focusing on activity-oriented items for our auction.
  • Talents, hobbies and crafts: woodworking, jewelry making, cooking or baking, beekeeping, knitting, gardening, sewing, quilting, glass work, art work, etc.
  • Pastimes and passions: books, magazine subscriptions, puzzles, board games, video games and equipment, skeet, rafting, hunting, fishing, bowling, biking, collecting, dolls, music, theatre, sports memorabilia, tickets or admissions gift cards, plan and host an event for someone!
  • Expertise: services you might provide.
  • Recreational and sports gear: outdoor games and equipment, toys for kids, games for the whole family
  • All items should be new or nearly new and should be donated no later than April 10th.

L.A.M.B.S. Preschool Dance Ministry – is looking for preschoolers interested in participating in this ministry.  Sign up in the copier room and we will contact you about practices, dates and times. The ministry is also looking for a high school student to help the preschoolers with this ministry.  Email Kimberly Hinton if interested.
