PSCC is currently seeking dedicated and energetic summer camp counselors who have a true passion for working with children to provide a safe, fun, and memorable camp experience.
Must be 18 years of age or older and have reliable transportation
Experience working with children 6-12
Must be willing and able to work outdoor recreational activities
Must be available for training before camp begins

SERVICE PROJECT - PAINT THE FELLOWSHIP HALL - April 24th - 25th - Volunteers are needed to be a part of the "Paint the Fellowship Hall - Service Project". Please sign up in the Copier Room by Sunday, April 12th. Donations of old clean rags and sheets are needed. Please deposit the rags and sheets in the box by the ministry mailboxes in the rear of the church. All Ministries are challenged to be a part of this church event. What a wonderful way to give back to the Poplar Springs Ministry - VOLUNTEER!
Poplar Springs Cancer Awareness Ministry will participate in Relay for Life annual event. Please support Poplar Springs Church team in the fight against cancer. PSCC Cultural Arts Ministry will host a viewing party of God Bless the Child: A Look Back on Harlem Renaissance for anyone who missed the live performance of the play or would just like to see it again. Please join the cast and crew to view the DVD on Wednesday, April 25th at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The Media Ministry has the God Bless the Child DVDs on sale for $10 each. You can pick up your copy today and copies will also be available during the viewing party. We hope to see you there!
2015 Mother of the Year for the Raleigh-Apex Branch NAACP. Virgilla Cook will be representing Poplar Springs Christian Church as a candidate this year. Please support her candidacy for the NC NAACP Mother of the Year. The contest will be held Sunday, April 26th at 3:00 pm at Martin Street Baptist Church – 1001 E. Martin Street – Raleigh, NC. PSCC Summer Camp will be held June 9- August 14, 2015 for grades K-8. The camp is $50.00 per week with a $40.00 non-refundable registration fee. The Wake Johnson Men’s Fellowship (WJMF) is excited to share with the Alliance some exciting news. This year marks the implementation of an annual high school scholarship fund. What does this mean? Two $500 scholarships will be awarded in May 2015 to a deserving male and female senior. Please pick up an application in the Narthex or Rear Lobby.
